Privacy Policy

How we handle personal data collected through this registration site.

Scope. This policy covers this registration site only. Our main website linked-world.com is covered by a separate privacy policy, which describes different services and different providers. This site uses none of them.

1. Who is responsible

The controller for the personal data described here is:

LinkedWorld AG
Altrottstraße 31
69190 Walldorf, Germany
Represented by the Executive Board: Wolfgang Wanninger
Email: info@linked-world.com

Full company details are in our Imprint.

2. What we collect and why

We only collect what you type into this site. There is no tracking, no profiling and no automated decision-making.

3. Email we send you

About this event

When you pre-register we email you about Solution Day Connect: your confirmation, venue and joining details, agenda updates and practical information for the day. This is part of providing the event you signed up for, so it is not marketing and does not depend on consent. If you no longer want it, ask us to cancel your registration and we will remove you.

About future events

Only if you ticked the optional box. That is consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and you can withdraw it at any time — by using the unsubscribe link in any such email, or by emailing info@linked-world.com. Withdrawing does not affect anything we sent lawfully beforehand, and does not affect your registration.

4. Who else sees your data

We use three service providers, each under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). They act only on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

Beyond these, we share your data only where we are legally required to — for example with tax authorities. We do not sell it and we do not pass it to sponsors or other attendees. Your name is not published anywhere.

Transfers outside the EU

Airtable and Vercel are based in the United States, and Stripe may transfer data to its US parent. These transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR and, where the provider is certified, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision of 10 July 2023. You should know that US authorities may in principle be able to access data held there, and that legal remedies may be weaker than in the EU.

5. Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags, no social media plugins, and nothing stored in your browser. Fonts are served from our own server, so no data goes to Google. That is why you were not asked to accept anything.

The one exception is Stripe's checkout page, which you reach only if you choose to buy a ticket. Stripe sets its own cookies there, necessary for payment and fraud prevention, under Stripe's privacy policy. That page is not ours.

6. Your seat-assignment link

After buying a ticket you get a private link for naming the people using your seats. Anyone holding that link can see and change those names, so please treat it like a password and only forward it to people who should have it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

Email info@linked-world.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.

8. Complaints

If you think we have handled your data wrongly, please tell us first — we would rather fix it. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is:

Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg
Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany
baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de

9. Is any of this required?

You do not have to give us anything. But we cannot register you without your name, company and email, and we cannot issue a valid invoice without billing details. The optional marketing box is exactly that — leaving it unticked changes nothing about your registration or your ticket.

10. Changes

If we change how this site handles personal data we will update this page and change the date below. If a change is significant and affects people who have already registered, we will tell them by email.
